7 months and counting...

There's the 30 week belly... I can't believe I only have 10 weeks to go!!


We have a couple things put together ...because we just couldn't see leaving it all in the box :)





Here's our bassinet :) I love it..not very comfortable feeling though- My mom is making us a little fluffy pad for in there. So he will be nice and cozy.


I couldn't pass this up...it's the cutest colors. He's going to be living like a king here :)

Lost, Sleep, Work, Lost :)

Sorry I haven't been much of a blogger lately. Our lives consist of working, eating, and watching Lost. I admit we have become obsessed with the show. We are on Season 3...just started watching it around Christmas time. It's an excellent show. Josh and I were making dinner last night discussing how we wish it would last until we were about 70.

In a more exciting note- I'm 30 weeks pregnant as of Saturday!! :) It's coming up so fast!! I can't believe it to be honest. Also, this is a terrible time for a baby registry at Target. I went there yesterday to add some things to my registry (2 more showers coming up!) They have 1 swing, and....maybe 1 high chair there. Good news tho- they have about 30 strollers. At least they have the jogger stroller and car seat/stroller I registered for. I asked them why they have absolutely nothing...they said it's a "change of season" Well jeez- they should warn you not to have a shower in Feb then!! lol oh well done being salty about that!

We have a very busy next couple of months. Last weekend in Jan. I have a shower with friends from Diamond Willow. I'm really excited! Also, my sister and mom are throwing me a shower for my side of the family on Feb. 7th. Noah is very loved! I can't believe all the wonderful things we are getting for him. It's such a blessing to have wonderful people in our lives that love us. I signed Josh and I up for child birth classes. We are going on Valentine's Day haha :) I'm really excited actually. It will be nice to be informed! Hopefully we won't leave there scared out of our minds.

Work has been going okay. I have to admit it's a HUGE adjustment going from days to nights. I'm def. not comfortably with it yet. I am training with the HUC's on the floors. Friday though, the HUC called in sick...sooo I was by myself all day. Let me tell you- it's a whole different job during the day. I survived though- made a few mistakes, but hey I'm human! I also am suffering from pregnancy brain. :)


Well that was a long post! I'm pretty proud of myself!!

A big big thank you to all the lovely ladies that planned my shower!! I loved it so much! We have so many wonderful gifts for Noah! He will be wearing 3 outfits a day so he can get them all on :) It was so nice to see everyone. I'm sad Kara, Jamie & Megan are leaving again!! :(



I didn't get any good pictures on my camera cuz it only works when it wants to..but here is one of the cupcakes Jamie made for us. (They were soooo yummy)

No more hibernation..

It's (hopefully) official. Jan. 6 I start working day/evenings :) :) :) :) Yes...I am very very excited. Nights are not doing it for me anymore. I feel like my arms are being pulled in 500 directions every noc shift. I'm sure day/evenings will be busy, too. I will get to sleep like a normal human, though!

Oh & this is for Kara...I can't wait for the bunny costume!!!

Brrrr...

It's freezing here! Iwent outside this morning to let the dogs out and it took my breath away!!! Brr..... the dogs are very quick when they go outside now! No more running into the neighbors yard being naughty.

I can't wait for everyone to come home for Christmas!! Meg---- will be here soon!! :) Christmas is coming so fast! That what happens when you are nocturnal like me lol. I got scheduled two weekends in a row this month- so back to work tonight and this weekend for me! boo... I get the next two weekends off tho. Can't complain too much. I'm also done with Christmas shopping :) I finished early this year! A goal of mine...now when the mall gets crazy I'll be at home! lol Welll.....I'll try to find a good picture to put on here since I haven't had one in ages!!!

Very sleeeeepy....

I am going on my 5th night shift in a row tonight. Needless to say...I'm exhausted. Sorry I haven't been updating my blog. I took a new job working evenings now so I can finally get out of this exhaustion phase. I was hoping to start this month, but I think I'll have to finish out my night shifts. That means I'm crossing my fingers I'll start in January. I need sleep- nights are making me a cranky pregnant lady!! I give people props-lots of nurses at work are just as far along as me and working nights. They have a better paycheck though ;)

I also have not felt like taking any pictures of myself- So those of you far away will have to be surprised when you see me in a couple weeks :) Sorry I've been such a slacker..wish I had something more to write about!!
